Cystic Fibrosis Babes

I am the proud mama to Karlee, 15, and Maximus, 14, who both have Cystic Fibrosis. CF has never defined who they are, rather given them the strength to persevere.

The importance of being passionate and fulfilled

Both children rely on their support system and their passions to motivate them on a normal day. These passions are restricted due to our current global situation. Karlee plays the saxophone and kicks butt in her high school band, marching, jazz, concert, and indoor Drumline. Maximus plays baseball year-round. Their lifelines have disappeared through this, but that has not stopped them from continually trying to stay active and healthy.

My children inspire me!

Karlee continues with her virtual lessons and ensembles through school, and Maximus is out back, pitching, hitting, and focusing on strength training. These two continue to inspire me! I am blessed these two are MY CF Babes!
