Nicole Kohr is a cystic fibrosis patient, a double lung transplant recipient, and an award-winning patient leader. Nicole was diagnosed at age 5 after several misdiagnoses. She spent most of her life split between an isolated room in the pediatric hospital in New Jersey and on stage. Nicole was transplanted in 2019, just 13 days after her wedding to her now-husband. Nicole received a $10K grant from the CFF on the morning of her wedding, allowing her to produce her original musical, Fall Risk. Nicole is a founder and children's book author at Colie Creations and holds a degree in public relations from Kean University. Nicole resides in New Bern, North Carolina with her husband, mother, and twin puppies.
