Remembering Kadeem Morgan

We are incredibly saddened to share that CysticFibrosis.com team member Kadeem Morgan passed away on June 27, 2023.

Kadeem was a talented musician and DJ who also went by the name DJ Odd Ras. He is already dearly missed.

A dedicated advocate

Those who knew Kadeem knew how important it was to connect with others living with cystic fibrosis (CF). As a Black man with the disease, he knew what it felt like to be looked at differently, so he advocated strongly that no other warrior be alone in their fight. He bravely spoke up about mental health, connecting with other CFers, and the difficulties of life with cystic fibrosis.

He was involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was always looking for ways to connect and encourage youth with the disease. He aspired to help others through music therapy and social work.
