Constipation
Can anyone help me with how many Creon 36000 they take with meals and snacks. I’ve noticed severe constipation the past year or so. Maybe it’s the trikafta or me getting older. Could anyone please help? I would be grateful. I’ve been taking 2-3 with every meal. My dr said the 6 I was taking is soon many.

I'm sorry you have been dealing with constipation! Have you spoken with your CF clinic's dietician? Calculating enzymes is best done by your dietician since they will use your weight and the lipase found in your Creon dose to figure out what is best for you. Every person has a dose that best fits their needs. Additionally, maybe it's time to see a GI dr as well? I really hope you are able to figure out a plan to deal with your constipation. If I were you, I would take one with snacks and meals until you remedy your constipation (I'm not your doctor so please ask your doctor first) or eat a bunch of black berries and blue berries, as is or in oatmeal with milk and cinnamon. That way it will help you gain weight and have the fiber you need.

Wow, miralax can have some bad sideffects and medicine interactions. I hope your doctor monitors you. Do you drink a lot of water? It's important also especially with miralax, that stuff uses water to soften so you can go easier.
Yes I make sure I drink 64oz of water everyday. So that much miralax could actually cause my issue?
