Cystic fibrosis adult onset?
Hi everyone 🙋🏻‍♀️just a quick introduction. I am 47 years old and live in the Netherlands.
I have severe intestinal complaints and therefore had a colonoscopy, in addition to active inflammation (Crohn’s) also is discovered I have “mucus plugs in my ileum crypts”. There shouldn’t be mucus plugs there. Together with my symptoms they now will test me genetically for CF.
I have pancreas insufficiency, chronic sinusitis, have a constant cold and that is nasty, a nasal polyp, slow intestinal motility, fatty stool, malabsorption, am constantly exhausted, cough if I lay down and am progressively short of breath with light exertion.
I also have neuropathy and a connective tissue disease that can explain my shortness of breath.
Does anyone have late onset CF and with what symptoms?

My blood is being tested for CF. No result yet.
