excess gas
Since starting Trikafta, it seems like I have excess gas and I mean LOTS of excess gas to the point that me and my husband are not sleeping in the same room. Has anybody experienced this.
I have played with my enzymes and looked into diet but after changes and modifications it still remains as a problem. This has been going on for months now.
just logged onto here, but my son is on Trikafta and he has tremendous amounts of gas, and now that I read some of the conversations now I am understanding some of what Trikafta is doing. I am not sure he does, though, the bad part is, he doesn’t stay continual with his enzymes, which I tell him it can create a bad problem . But as usual, he does not listen. Along with its needed effects, elexacaftor / ivacaftor / tezacaftor may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Body aches or pain
chills
cough
diarrhea
difficulty in breathing
ear congestion
fever
itching skin or rash
loss of voice
sneezing
