New to Trikafta-please respond
Hi. I just started taking Trikafta a week ago after the sickest year of my life. I started it while on levaquin and doxy. I culture pseudomonas and recently had Mrsa in my sinuses, causing my 7th and 8th sinus surgeries. My lungs got full of plugs and have closed off my airways, making it very difficult to breathe at all. Constant wheezing and coughing so hard and so often that I cracked a rib or tore a muscle.
I’ve been running low grade fevers since I started the trikafta and have some dark red weird spots showing up on my arms and legs. Also having headaches and nausea.
Did most of you have fevers and if so, how long before you felt the magic and felt better?
It sounds like you are going through a tough time, my heart goes out to you. Have you reached out to your doctors about all you're experiencing? I think they should most definitely be made aware of how you're feeling and I'm hoping could help point you in the right direction, to get some relief.
