Curious 🤔

I've seen a post on here saying marijuana/ I mean do CF people smoke that stuff and doesn't it effect them even more ??? I'm curious how that works 🤔 I feel this could be very harmful.

  1. None of our health leaders have written about this specifically, but we do have an article from our editorial team that talks about smoking and second hand smoke, including from marijuana: https://cystic-fibrosis.com/smoking-vs-secondhand-smoke

    1. Cannabis smoke is both medicine and irritant, mainly irritant. Some of the functioning is in the natural expectorant quality of the chemicals. I could craft a response that shows I went to biology school but that would miss the main point: it works for some people.

I use other herbs, too, making tea (for drinking) and steam (for inhaling...carefully, I might add). I would be dead without the natural medicines and I wonder if there are others out there who do this? I rarely enter these forums because I've never tasted the wonders of Trikafka and rely upon the medieval, instead...

Also: I'm a carrier with Celiac disease, which is to say: I have either CF Syndrome or "real" CF only depending on your sociopolitical point of view it seems.
